Animal Emergency and Trauma Center has been serving pets, people and area veterinarians since 1993.
AETC strives to provide the best in small animal emergency critical care. We work as a team with your family veterinarian by taking referrals and offering emergency medical care for your pet when your veterinarian is not available.
Our highly skilled medical team provides 24 hour care for your pet. We work closely with surrounding veterinary hospitals and over 50 local veterinarians. When your pet receives care at AETC, the records are faxed or emailed to your family veterinarian. If your pet is hospitalized at AETC, our medical team sends daily updates and our doctors talk frequently with you and your family veterinarian.
No appointments are necessary since we are an emergency clinic and emergencies can’t be planned. Cases prioritized based on stability and urgency of condition. Please give us a call if you have concerns about your pet when your family veterinarian is not available. If you have an immediate emergency, you may come directly to the hospital. If possible, please give us a call so we can prepare for your pet’s specific needs.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures in-house so that we may get immediate information that helps with diagnosis and treatment. We also use outside laboratories and resources when needed. We have a well-stocked pharmacy, in-house surgery suite, digital x-ray capabilities with telemedicine options, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a closely monitored hospitalization area.
AETC specializes in pet emergencies in and around Kitsap County
including Bremerton, Silverdale, Port Orchard, Bainbridge Islands, Kingston,
Belfair, Port Townsend, Gorst, Port Ludlow, Sequim, Shelton, Gig Harbor, Poulsbo and
