Summary:
Good working knowledge and experience in veterinary nursing, instrumentation, anesthesia induction, anesthesia maintenance, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, pharmacology, radiography, and laboratory procedures.
Attention to detail, excellent observation skills, and meticulous record keeping.

General:
You will assist in the following type of procedures:
• Physical examinations
• Anesthesia and surgery
• Endoscopy
• Ultrasound
• Emergency procedures
• Hospital housekeeping
• Client education
• Patient records

Experience:
At least 2 years working in and emergency hospital a plus but not required. A good skill set is required.

Job Skills / Duties
• Obtain and record patient histories, perform triage exams
• Collect specimens and perform laboratory procedures
• Provide specialized nursing care
• Prepare animals, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Assist in diagnostic, medical and surgical procedures
• Obtain quality digital radiographs
• Stock and maintain pharmaceuticals and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and equipment
• Primary responsibility is the humane care of the patients
